The Hidden Room is a thriller and suspense novel, set in a rambling old mansion that is filled with secrets. A mood board was first created to set a tone for the cover that should include dark, eerie, and unsettling imagery of an old house, grand rooms, a key, or shadows.

The final design includes a suspenseful subhead and dramatic bold typography for the title. An on-trend color gradient adds deeper interest on top of the dark and foreboding mansion that was chosen as the prominent photo.
