The Royal Betrayal is a thriller and mystery that deals in royal intrigue and murder. The mood board was created to find the best stock photo options for a cover that needs to convey darkness, royalty, blood, wealth, castles, or a crown. I chose a stock photo of a gold necklace with a crown pendant that’s encrusted in diamonds. Blood drops were added to further illustrate the thriller genre. The typography conveys the dark royal mood with a blood red script font.
